Matt Werner

Since 1997 Matt Werner has served as President of Queen of the Apostles Mission Association working to advance the interests of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Russia and former Soviet Union countries. This charitable non-profit group has helped many bishops, priests and sisters build and repair churches and monasteries that underwent neglect and destruction during Communist rule. He travels every year to monasteries, seminaries and parishes in the Ukraine bringing them hope, assessing their progress and bringing back reports. He and his wife always visit an orphanage where they teach the children the Rosary.
