On Assignment From God

Therese Lorentz has been on assignment the past 23 years with God.

Her first task was to gather the St. Thomas Aquinas Society, and the second was, with them, to bring retreat days, healing Masses and conferences to Colorado Springs.  Since 1991, the St. Thomas Aquinas Society has hosted 17 annual free conferences encompassing three days of speakers, Mass, healing services and Eucharistic Adoration.

This year’s free conference, to be held Aug. 1-3 at Pikes Peak Center in downtown Colorado Springs, includes a noted Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) host as well as a speaker on Eucharistic miracles. The theme of the conference is “Blessed Be God.”

Lorentz, a member of St. Patrick Parish in Colorado Springs, explains her involvement with the St. Thomas Aquinas Society and the conferences: “Back in June of 1991, I woke up with the name, ‘St. Thomas Aquinas Society’ clearly in my mind, and the understanding to start a prayer group.
